Bio

Daughter of Jackson and Sarah Jane (Baxter) Hollingsworth. Married William A. Murphy on January 2, 1879 in McLean County, Ill. ___________________ Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), April 10, 1896, p. 5, col. 2 Mrs. Mary Murphy, wife of W. A. Murphy of Center township, died yesterday morning of erysipelas. She has been ill for sometime. She was about 38 years of age and leaves a husband and nine children to mourn her demise, the oldest child aged 16 years and the youngest one year. The funeral will be held tomorrow, services at St. Francis' church in Center township at 10 o'clock a.m.
