Bio

DALHART — Joeseph Lee Rammage, 91, of Dalhart died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012. His wife, Georgia Hill Rammage, 87, died Friday, March 9, 2012. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bertrand Cemetery, five miles east of Felt, Okla., with their nephew, Billy Rammage, officiating. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart. Mr. Rammage was born Oct. 5, 1920, in Texline to James and Susie Browder Rammage. He served in the Army's 17th bomb squadron until January 1946. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rammage was born May 19, 1924, in Felt to Albert and Irene Howell Hill. She taught school in Haviland, Kan., Felt and Kit Carson, Colo. She is survived by a sister, Billie Ruth French of Dalhart. Amarillo Globe-News, May 24, 2012
