(Munyon) Schrodt, the daughter of James and Ella (Woods) Munyon, was born January 7, 1933, in Grandriver, Iowa. She passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 75. She received her education in the Grandriver schools and graduated from high school in 1950. On June 8, 1957, Bonnie was united in marriage to Robert Earl Schrodt at the Church of the Nazarene in Creston, Iowa. Following their marriage the couple made their home in Des Moines, Iowa. Later the family moved to Cromwell, Iowa. In 1964, the family moved to Estherville, Iowa, where they permanently made their home. Bonnie was employed at the Gardston Hotel as head housekeeper for many years. Bonnie had a wonderful sense of humor. In her leisure time she enjoyed the outdoors and walking, going out to eat and watching soap opera's, especially The Young and Restless. She took great pride in her family and loved spending time with all of them. Robert died June 3, 2004. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Estherville. Left to cherish Bonnie's memory are; one son, Dwight Schrodt and his wife, Tammy of Austin, Minnesota; two daughters, Donnis Mills of Wallingford; Doris Hildago of Estherville; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother's, Dale Munyon and his wife, Donna and Dennis Munyon and his wife, Louise all of Des Moines; and sister, Norma Wolf of Orient, Iowa. Preceding Bonnie in death were her husband; one grandson, Alan Carrico; one infant granddaughter, Tyler; son-in-law, Bradley Mills; her parents; and brother-in-law, Clarence "Buzz" Wolf.
