Turman Dies at Gober Mrs. Sarah M. Turman died at her home in the Gober community this morning at 7:30 o'clock following a four-months illness. A native of Nashville, Tenn., she came to Texas in 1885 and had resided in the Gober community since that time. She was a long-time member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She was the wife of William J. Turman, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Roy Turman, Gober; Collie Turman, Bonham; two step-sons, Ira Turman, California; Eurie Turman, Gober; two brothers, J. B. Sikes, Amarillo, G. M. Sikes, Margaret, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Zelphia Gray, Celeste, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services have been announced for 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at Wise Funeral Home Chapel with Elder H. G. Ball of Tioga officiating. Interment will be in Philadelphia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Porter, John Glover, Arthur Woodson, Eual Deary, Will Taylor and Jack Green.
