He married Jane Patterson(no data); dau Elizabeth PA--Sharon Herald...14 Mar 1936 DR CLYDE C TIDD--61: Heart trouble, aggra-vated by the sudden death of his brother Dr Ralph Tidd-Clarksvl last Wednesday, brought death to Dr Clyde Tidd at his home in Mineral Ridge early this morning [3-14]. Relatives as they paid final tribute to DrRalph Tidd today at the family home in Clarksville recalled that Dr EJ Tidd (father of the 2 popular physicians) had succumbed to a heart attack 30yrs ago next Monday. DrClyde Tidd was born 18 Apr 1875 in Clarksvl. He attended Oberlin College, graduating in medicine at Western Reserve University. He had conducted his medical practice in Mineral Ridge for the past 35 years. Surviving are his widow: Jane Patterson Tidd; a dau: Mrs Horace Fowble-Mineral Ridge, a sis: Mrs Joseph Jones-Clarksville. Service will be held Tuesday afternoon [3-17] at Mineral Ridge Methodist church.
