Bio
William Joseph Wiesner was born on 10 Jan 1890 in Fayetteville, Fayette County, Texas. He was the fourth of ten children of William Frank Wiesner and Mariana Baca Wiesner. William married Emilie Lillian Sliva, the daughter of Joseph Anton Sliva and Albina Pratka Sliva, on 16 October 1913 in St. John's Catholic Church in Taiton, Wharton County, Texas. The family settled in Rowena, Runnels County, Texas, where they owned a dry-goods store - "Wiesner & Pustka." William was also a U. S. Postmaster in Rowena. William and Emilie were the parents of two sons: William A. Wiesner and Jerome James Wiesner, both of whom became physicians. William Joseph Wiesner died on 5 Dec 1937 at the age of 47. ~ by Linda Wiesner, niece
