Bio

Earl Byron Hacking was the stillborn son of Orson Ezra Brown and Ida Melvina Brown Hacking. Ida was at the Whiterocks Reservation near Roosevelt, Duchesne, Utah, United States when she started to go into labor. Sadly Earl did not survive birth because of an embolism in the umbilical cord as indicated on his birth/death certificate (link below). His birth, death, and burial all took place on the same day, Monday, 15 June 1914. He was buried in the Roosevelt Memorial Park, plot F 776 07. His stone is inscribed with "EARL BYRON HACKING JUNE 15, 1914." Later an epitaph (cinotaph*) was included for him on the stone in the Cedar Fort Cemetery listing 9 children of Orson and Ida who died as infants. He therefore has two Find A Grave memorials.
