Howard D. Cover, 49, former Hastings resident, died Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lincoln. Cover, who was a native of Pauline, was employed for a time with the Jack and Jill Stores in Hastings. He was a veteran of service in World War II and a member of the American Legion. Survivors are his brothers, Gerald of Hastings and Alton of Columbus, O., and a sister, Mrs. Gailen King of Inland. Arrangements for services will be announced by the Butler-Volland Funeral Home. HDT 8 Nov. 1972 pg 11 Cover, Howard D., of York passed away Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln. 49 years old. Survived by 2 brothers, 1 sister. Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Butler-Volland chapel with Monsignor M.W. Helmann officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley cemetery. HDT 10 Nov. 1969 pg 9
