Thanks to contributor #46975511 Edgar resident, Zona N. King, 91, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the Rosebrook Care Center; Edgar, NE. Services will be Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE. Burial will be in the Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, NE. Zona was born April 1, 1917 to Elmer and Rachel (Kelso) Cover in Pauline, NE. She married Gailen Alfred King, on March 15, 1939, he passed away, July 1, 1987. She had lived in Inland, NE since 1968 before moving to the Kensington in Hastings, NE and living there for 4 year. She spent a short stay at the Rosebrook Care Center in Edgar, NE. Zona was a homemaker and helped out on the farm. She is survived by 1 son, Ron King and wife Norma of Trumbull, NE. 3 grandsons, David King and wife Jeannette of Edgar, NE, James King and wife Brenda of Aurora, NE, and John King and wife Susan of Des Moines, IA, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gailen, her parents and 4 brothers. Clay County News January 8, 2009
