Graveside service for former Wewoka resident Wanda Mae Grant will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 23, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home. Wanda Grant passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was born November 27th, 1920 in Hannah, OK to Francis "Frank" Janeway and Cassie Mosley Janeway. Wanda attended Hannah Public Schools and later married Ray J. Roland on December 10, 1937 in Hannah, OK. Ray passed away September 21, 1964. She later married Joseph H. Grant on January 25, 1968 and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1973. Wanda loved to go fishing in her spare time, but more than anything, she was a mother to her daughters and their children, and great grandchildren. She was the best homemaker to her family, She raised two daughters and helped raise, four grandchildren and also her great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by them all. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Pamela Sue Roland and husband Ray Roland, and Joseph Grant. She is survived by her daughter; Vila and husband Dan Ervin of Wewoka, Grandchildren; Mike and wife Johnna Ervin of Wewoka, Keith and wife Susan Ervin of Lamar, Brent Ervin of Wewoka, and Mark Ervin of Oklahoma City, Great grandchildren; Mica Ervin (Travis) Hayes, and Cason, Jon, Trey, and Grayson Ervin, Carlee (Jeff) Smith and Easton, Courtney and Candace Walton, sisters; Lorene Armer of McAlester, and Frances Blackburn of Oklahoma City and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are: Mike Ervin, Keith Ervin, Brent Ervin, Mark Ervin, Jon Michael Ervin, and Trey Ervin.
