Son of George and Mary (Laska) Furmanski. Married Lillian Kosinska on February 3, 1915 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus, Nebr. '''''''''''''''''''''''''' Tribune-Sentinel (Grant, Nebr.), August 12, 1926, p. 1, col. 4 MARTIN FERMANSKI KILLED BY BUILDING COLLAPSING Martin Fermanski, who occupies the Harshman farm, west of Grant, met death last Tuesday evening, when a large shed collapsed, crushing his skull. The shed was wrecktd by the high wind which accompanied the rain and hail storm. Mr. Fermanski was 38 years old, and leaves a wife and six children to mourn his untimely departure. The body was taken to Ogallala today by C.C. Lyon, and will be shipped from that point to Clarks, Nebr., for interment. Mr. Fermanski had been a frequent visitor to Perkins county for the past three years, and rented the Harshman place and moved there last spring. '''''''''''''''''''''''' The Columbus Daily Telegram (Columbus, Nebr.), August 18, 1926, p. 4, col. 6 CEDAR RAPIDS A telegram was received here by relatives stating that M. Furmanski, of Brandon, had met his death in a windstorm. Mr. Furmanski was a man of 37 years of age; he lived in this vicinity the past fourteen years, until a year ago in July when he moved to the western part of the state, where he met a sudden death. He leaves a wife and six small children, the oldest being 10 years and the youngest two months old. The body was removed to Cedar Rapids Friday and taken to the home of his cousin, Paul Kosinski. Saturday morning at 9 o’clock requiem high mass was celebrated by Father Vermullen. The body was laid to rest in the parish cemetery.
