Ramsey, 63, of 3515 Lee St., Greenville, died about 9 a.m. Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Don Goen, following an illness of two weeks. Funeral services for Mr. Ramsey will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Sorrells and Sons Memorial Chapel with Dr. James L. Sandlin officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery. Born Aug. 20, 1905, in Oklahoma, Mr. Ramsey was the son of Fred Ramsey and Kathrine Powell. He retired from International Milling Co. after 30 years. Survivors include a son, Rickey C. Ramsey of McKinney; two daughters, Mrs. Don Goen and Mrs. P.R. Woodson, both of Greenville; a brother, Victor Roper of California three sisters, Mrs. Roy Spoonemore and Mrs. M.S. Houser, both of Greenville, and Mrs. B.R. Huff of California; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
