Bio

Although the tombstone says 1907, Victor was born in 1909. He is listed at 6 months old in the 1910 US Census, where his parents were listed as married for 1 year. He is also listed in the 1920 US Census as 10 years old, and 20 years old in the 1930 US Census. Also, in Jan 1907 his mother was still married to her first husband, and gave birth to Grace B Ramsey, who would become his stepsister. Victor Morris Roper passed away Jan. 4, 19M. Survived by wife, Mrs. Helen Roper, Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Houser, Mrs. Grace Spoonmore, both of Greenville Mrs. Mabrie Huff, Castro Valley, CA
