Inscription

JOHN McG. Son of J. & J.A. Headley died Oct. 7, 1852 AE. 12 ys. 29 ds. Notes: In the summer of 2000, we found this stone, still standing, leaning heavily forward, and thickly covered with lichen. We cleaned the stone and reset it. This stone is a free-standing stone, and we reset it as such. This stone was not listed as John McG. Headley in the previous readings done on the cemetery. There was a listing for "McG, John, son of J. & H.," with the same date of death and age information. I believe the other letters were so full of lichen, that they were unreadable at the time.
