Patricia J. Korth, 87, of Madison died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Countryside Home in Madison. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery in Humphrey. Visitation will be Tuesday 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. scripture service. Additional viewing will be Wednesday 9 a.m to time of service, all at St. Francis Catholic Church. Patricia, daughter of Joseph Labenz and Clara Wilhelm, was born July 28, 1924 in Humphrey. She attended St. Francis Elementary School and High School. She married Elmer J. Korth October 25, 1944 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. She was a lifetime resident of the Humphrey community. She was a homemaker, custodian at Humphrey Public Schools and a number of years operated City Cafe. Patricia enjoyed embroidery, playing cards and gardening. She was a member of Christian Mothers Society, American Legion Auxiliary Foltz-Zuerlein Post 80 and St. Francis Catholic Church. Patricia is survived by her daughters: Cheryl (Jack) Hastreiter of Humphrey, Diane (Don) DeValle of St. Augustine, FL, Cindy (Gary) Stenger of Columbus; sons: Mike (Lois) Korth of Humphrey, Mark (Sally) Korth of Humphrey, Patrick (Barbara) Korth of Platte Center, Paul (Christine) Korth of Omaha; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister: Mercedes (Eugene) Masur of Madison; brother: Paul (Marilyn) Labenz of Humphrey. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons: Thomas, Gerald, Joseph; sister and brother-in-law: Rita & Sylvester Weidner; brother Donald. Funeral arrangements handled by Duesman Funeral Home, Humphrey.
