MAY 23, 1952 GEORGE L. COOPER RITES CONDUCTED Services were conducted last Saturday At Williams Funeral Home for George L. Cooper, 84, who died at King's Daughters Hospital at Columbia Thursday afternoon. Mr. cooper was a son of the later James C. and Emarintha Kinzer Cooper, was born and reared in this county, and was a member of the Methodist Church, of the Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his son, James Cooper, his sister, Mrs. P. S. Chandler, and his brother, Robert B. Cooper, all of Mt.l Pleasant, several nieces and nephews. Rev. Faxon Small officiated with burial in Arlington Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Leftwich, Paul McAnally, Jim Lucas, Jery Escue,, Ruskin Vest, D. W. Cecil and Henry Pickard, and honorary, Dr. James H. Jones, Dr. W. Kitrell and J. C. Rhea.
