Herald Coaster, November 29, 1995: Funeral services for Janice Zwahr, age 64, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 1995, at the Garmany & Carden Chapel in Needville. Officiating at the service will be the Reverend James Ramsey. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery in Needville. Mrs. Zwahr was born on May 16, 1931 in Bangor, Maine. She died on November 27, 1995 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. She is survived by her children, Janet Baranowski and her husband, Edward, of Needville, Calvin Zwahr Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Fairchilds, Karen Gundermann and her husband, Wayne, of Houston, Dale Zwahr of Fairchilds, Annette Prihoda and her husband, Donnie, of Damon, and Glen Zwahr and his wife, Debbie, of Richmond; grandchildren, Matt, Taryn, and Katie Baranowski, Victoria, Lee Ann, and Katelyn Zwahr, Lynzie Zwahr, Kayla Gundermann, and Wayne Gundermann Jr., Amanda Cooper, Robin and Justin Zwahr, Danielle, Paige, and Zachary Prihoda; and one great-grandchild, Brooke May. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church Building Fund. Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Needville.
