Bio

Herald Coaster, January 30, 1983: Funeral services for Lillie Horak, 96, of Needville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with Father Ludon Angel presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Horak died Friday at the SPJST Nursing Home in Needville. She was born Aug. 22, 1886 in Ammannsville and was one of the first settlers of the Needville area. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Needville. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors include three daughters, Della Wenzel of Needville, Judith Wenzel of Needville, and Alice Kalkomey of Needville; two sisters, Della Kristek and Martha Bohac, both of Weimar; 11 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
