Obituary, Fort Bend Herald Funeral services for Lucille L. Richter, 69, of Rosenberg were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. The Rev. Dr. Dale A. Staggemeier officiated the services. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., FM 2218 at Highway 59 in Rosenberg. Lucille was born Jan. 27, 1933 in Beasley to Walter and Emma Schmidt Henrichsen. She attended Beasley High School and was a graduate of the first class of Lamar Consolidated High School in 1951. She was employed with Schult Equipment Company, Bennett International and as a bookkeeper for many years at Weiner's in Rosenberg. Lucille was an avid gardener, receiving Yard of the Month honors. She passed away Sept. 29, 2002 in Richmond, her 51st wedding anniversary. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ivan Richter, of Rosenberg; her son, Mark Richter and his wife, Rebecca, of Austin; a daughter, Sharon Baca and her husband, Jim, of Sugar Land; a brother, Marvin Henrichsen and his wife, Gladys, of Rosenberg; a brother-in-law, Harvey Richter of Needville; five grandchildren, Brett, Derek and Amanda Baca and Jennifer and Lauren Richter. Pallbearers included Brett, Derek and Amanda Baca, Jennifer Richter, Alvis Schmidt and Jarvis Rosenbaum. Honorary pallbearers were Albert Pavlock and Robert Vogler. For those wishing, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Rosenberg St. John's United Church of Christ Women's Guild, 1513 West St., Rosenberg, Texas, 77471. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
