Nova Smouse, age 86 resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 at her home with family by her side. Nova was born in Brownwood, TX on September 9, 1923. Nova moved to Albuquerque 56 years ago. Nova is survived by her husband Wayne "Dewey" Smouse, son, David Smouse and his wife, Linda of Albuquerque, three daughters, Irma Patton of Bernalillo, Gail Norris of Washington state and Anita Clark of Friona, TX. Nova had 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Nova was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Nova was a member of the Bernalillo Co. Extension Club. Nova raised, groomed and showed poodles in the 1960s. published by Daniels Funeral Services
