Bio

After graduating from Brownwood High School, Aline moved to California where she met Raymond Waller (son of the minister of the church she attended). They married in 1943 while Raymond was still in the Army Air Force stationed at Foster Field in Victoria and their first child (Lloyd Allen)was born there. He died in 1946 ten days after the birth of their second child Lynn Raymond. Later children were Peggy Arlene (1949) and Timothy Gene (1955). Raymond died in 1958 leaving her a widow at age 36 with three children under 12. She supported the family as a church secretary and for over 20 years at the Haltom City Public Library. Aline founded a quilting ministry at the Hills Church of Christ in North Richland Hills, TX to help those in need that continues today. As of this date (2018)she has 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with more expected. She lived an exemplary Christian life and was honored by the children on her 80th birthday with the publication of her biography titled "A Woman of Noble Character."
