Herald Coaster, March 30, 2003: Funeral services for John Feldhoff, 99, of Rosenberg, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Friedens United Church of Christ, 7526 Avenue I in Beasley, with Rev. Carol Ashton officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Needville Public Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in the chapel of Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, 1201 Fourth Street in Rosenberg. John was born Dec. 13, 1903 in Sudgeorgsfehn, Germany, to Johann and Theda Brunsen Feldhoff. He passed away March 27, 2003 in Rosenberg. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ella Zwahr Feldhoff, his second wife, Dora Conner Feldhoff; his three sons, Norman, Gerald, and Ernest Feldhoff; his brothers, Dirk, Eilert, Georg, Fritz, Hans, Theodor; and his sisters, Anna and Frauke. John is survived by his daughter-in-law, La Van Feldhoff; grandchildren, Sandra Croft, Judy Kveton and husband, David, JoAnn Meyer and husband, Don, David Feldhoff and wife, Kim, Vickie Cummings, Karen Whaley and husband, Wayne, Jerry Feldhoff, Ricky Feldhoff, Eric Feldhoff, and Debra Wilborn; numerous great-grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, and his special neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Scarborough and Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Blinka. For those wishing, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
