WWI veteran, Arthur Gordon Toler was one of the sons belonging to William "Bill" Castilion Toler and Alice C. (Dodson) Toler , being named after his maternal grandfather, Arthur Dodson. He was the husband of Emma Avery (Smith) Toler (she passed in 1924, when Arthur was 33); father of Rev William "Willie" Arthur Jackson Toler , Alice Emma (Toler) Morton , Eugene Columbus Toler and Fred Joseph Toler .
