(Dodson) Toler was the daughter of Arthur and Millie Dodson, wife of William "Bill" Castilion Toler, with their wedding date being Jan 31, 1882, when she was 17 and he was 22. They were married in Escambia County, AL. Alice was the mother of seven children: Daniel Marion Toler, James "Jim" William Toler , Fletcher C. Toler, Robert "Lee" Toler, Arthur Gordon Toler , Yancy Marvin Toler and Alice "Mamie" (Toler).
