Mrs. Lizzie Brister (Friday, January 13, 1984, page - 2) DeRidder - Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Brister, 80, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, in Beauregard Funeral Home Chapel.The Revs. Dave Breechen and Danny Shadix will officiate. Burial will be in the Drakes Fork Cemetery . Mrs. Brister died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in a New Orleans hospital. She was a native of Pitkin. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Vincent; four sons, Morris, Athus, Eartes and Pete Brister; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Hennigan and Mrs. Lois Burks, all of DeRidder, one brother, Dewey Gill of Rosepine, 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
