John Franklin Maddox was born 01 Feb 1894 in Bald Prairie, Franklin,Robertson County,TX as the fifth child of William R. Maddox and Mary E. (Lizzie) Rucker. He had five siblings, namely: William Henry, Lottie, Jessie A., Minnie Florine, and Lee. He died 25 Sep 1980 in Calvert, Texas (Burried:Bald Prairie Cementary). When he was 22, He married Agnes Mosely,daughter of Archie Bishop Mosely and Laura Francis Perkins, 04 Feb 1916 in Ball Prairie, Texas. His cause of death was a heart attack and he had a medical condition of High blood pressure. He was employed as a Farmer. In 1926 he lived in Slaton TX for about 1.5 years before returning to Franklin, per Juanita Boyd. He was counted in the census 1930 in Precinct 6, Robertson, Texas. He died in Calvert Texas on 25 Sep 1980. He and Agnes had the following children: 1.Davis Woodrow Maddox was born 29 Jun 1918 inRobertson County. He died 01 Sep 1924 in Bald Prairie, Tex Cementary Lot 219. 2. Juanita Kathleen Maddox was born in Duck Creek, Bald Prairie, Texas. She married Robert Standridge Boyd 17 Aug 1940 in Franklin, Texas. 3. John Louis Maddox was born 18 Jan 1923. He died 03 Mar 2008 in Alabama. 4. LLoyd Glen Maddox was born 16 May 1925. He died 01 Sep 2008 in Houston, Texas. 5. Elbert (Sugar) Maddox was born in Robertson County. 6. Thomas Ray Maddox was born 11 Jul 1930. He died Abt. 1975 in Omaha, Nebraska,Bellevue Cemetery, Block 42, Lot 7, Space 4. 7. Betty Jane Maddox was born 14 May 1933. She died 09 Apr 2005 in Bremond, Texas. 8. John Franklin (Bobby) Maddox Jr was born 17 Jan 1936 in Smith, Texas, USA. He died 26 Aug 1981 in Los Angles, California. He married Patricia M 20 Sep 1963. 9. Joe Alan Maddox born in Robertson County. 10.Carlton McArthur Maddox born in Robertson County.
