The Times, 02 Jul 1957, Tue, Page 20 JOHN T. GOINS OAKDALE, July 1 (Special) Funeral services for John T. Goins, 67, of Pitkin, were held at 4 p.m. today at the Drake Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Cooley officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery at Pitkin under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. Mr. Goins died at his home at 5 a.m. Sunday following a lengthy ailment. He is survived by his widow; three sons, Oliver, Earl and James, all of Pitkin; three daughters, Mrs. Tom Hilton of Hineston ; Mrs. Fred Clemons of Texas, and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson of Pitkin; two brothers, Jim of Leesville and Fletcher of Simpson; two sisters, Mrs. A. D. Jackson of Monroe and Mrs. Lucy Booker of Simpson, and 17 grandchildren.
