Thomas Albin Roy III 69 Advocate, The (Baton Rouge, LA) - Monday, September 6, 1999 A native of Mansura, he was 69, a resident of Baton Rouge and a registered professional engineer. He served in various management positions during his career with Uniroyal and U.S. Steel and retired after 30 years of service. After his retirement, he founded and owned T A R Inc. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Albin Roy II; and his mother, Estelle Bordelon Roy Bagur. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from LSU.
