Funeral arrangements are pending at this time. Isma Roy Escude, age 82, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Mansura. Isma enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles in her spare time; she also enjoyed baking for family and friends. Isma also liked to travel and work on genealogy of her family’s history. She was also a member of the Mansura Chamber of Commerce for many years and a member of the LSU Alumni Federation. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Escude; parents, Thomas A. & Estelle B. Roy; brother, Thomas Roy; & grandson, Aaron Jeansonne. Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Stacy Bordelon of Opelousas; Jody Jeansonne of Kingwood, Tx; Jay Escude of Dallas, Tx; and Andrew Escude of Lubbock, Tx; and her brother Clarence Roy of Longbridge.
