Bio

Herald Coaster, September 17, 1972: Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday for Mrs. Emily Kovar, 85, a Rosenberg resident who died Saturday morning in Polly Ryon Hospital after a lengthy illness. First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg will be the site of the services, with burial in WOW Cemetery. Rev. Frank Cate and Rev. Allen Duffy will officiate. Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Garmany and Co. Chapel in Rosenberg. A member of First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg, she is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Laura Oliver of Houston, and Mrs. Viola Senkel, Mrs. Zelma Koym, and Mrs. Gladys Muchu, all of Rosenberg; a sister, Mrs. Liddie Sitta of Pleak; her brother, E.H. Walenta of Rosenberg; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
