FUNERAL RITES SET FOR ONE OF THREE ACCIDENT VICTIMS Oakdale, La. (Special) - Funeral services were scheduled today for one of the three killed near here in a car-logging truck accident. The victim is Jesse James, 53, of Pitkin. Services for James were to have been at 11am at the Drakes Fork church with Rev. Billy Patham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. James is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lannie James; a son, Elton Ray; thee daughters, Nola Fay Zell and Mr. Elbert Johnson all of Pitkin; one sister, Mrs. Lula Bass of Rosepine; four brothers, Frank, Bob and Ed, all of Rosepine and Andrew James of Pitkin. Funeral services have not yet been set for Henry Johnson, 54, and his son John Henry Johnson 19. The two Johnson's, residents of Cravens, were both kidded instantly. The three were traveling in the Johnson car when they were killed. They were traveling east to Elizabeth on Highway 22, when their car stuck the truck driven by Joe Deselle monday night. Deselle was uninjured. Johnson is survived by his wife Mrs. Shattie Johnson of Cravens, his mother, Mrs. J. Johnson of Pitkin; one daughter, Mrs. John K. Anderson of Pueblo, Colorado; three brothers, Harvey of Beaumont, Harold of Port Arthur and Horace of Pitkin; six sisters, Mrs. Ida Wisby of Slagle, Mrs. Emma Middleton of Port Arthur, Mrs. Girlie Menke of Bay City, Tex., Mrs. Allie Lightfoot of Houston, Mrs. Pearl Fisher of Port Arthur and Mrs. Mamie Lyner of Houston. Funeral services for Johnson and his son will be held at the Mr. Olive Baptist Church and burial will be at Blue Branch Cemetery near Pitkin, under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. The time and date of the double funeral are incomplete.
