Leonard Graphic, Leonard, Texas, Friday, 29 August 1952 Funeral Services for Mrs. Keen, , 71, Held Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Gertrude Keen, 71, who passed away Saturday, August 23, 1952 were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Grove Hill Methodist church with burial in the Leonard cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Charles J. Graves officiated. Deceased was born October 4, 1880 in Taylorville community, the daughter of the late Joe and Sarah Sudderth. She was married to Harry Walter Keen on December 7, 1897. Mr. Keen passed away in July, 1949. One son, Willis, passed away in 1950. Mrs. Keen was a member of the Grove Hill Methodist church. Pallbearers were A. N. Berry, Huse Freeman, Barney Roberts, Jack Owens, Vernon Sudderth and Bob Sheridan. Survivors include: three sons, Albert and Alvin Keen, both of Leonard and Wallace Keen of Fire Baught, California; three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Bowman of Dodd City, Mrs Zelma Adkinson, of Hallsville, and Bertha Raper of Trenton. 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.
