According to his death certificate (Fannin Co., #29612; Mrs. Ada SUDDERTH, wife, informant), he was the son of Joseph Tucker SUDDERTH and Sarah Ellen McCLELLAHAN [McMAHAN]. He married first Bennie Marie SUDDATH, with whom he shares a monument. He and his second wife, Ada QUEENER, lived in Bailey, TX. Their granddaughter, Randa Beaumont, wrote the following remembrance: We have so many fond memories of OF and Ada: The kindness of both of them except when Grandaddy would say, "I'm sure glad you came so I could get something to eat!" Grandmother would fuss at him but we would think it was so funny! His spit can - I was fascinated with that can as a child. His truck that he would drive into the barn every day. The houses he built on his property. Sitting outside in the evenings looking up at the countless stars! The snakes he would kill with his bare hands! I still dream about that house they lived in. All the cakes Grandmother made and the chickens she would put on the chopping block and cook for dinner. We have always thought of OF and Ada and the fond memories we have of them and their life they led.
