MRS. IDA BEASLEY DIES; SERVICES SET WEDNESDAY Mrs. Ida Mae Beasley, 63, of 805 Shell St., long-time Midland resident, died late Monday at the home of a son in Hobbs, N.M. She had been in failing health since an operation in 1960 and was taken a week ago to the Hobbs home of her son, Elvis Beasley. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Newnie W. Ellis Chapel with the Rev. Bill Carter, Pastor of the Rock Chapel Baptist Church of Hobbs, officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. A native of Ardmore, Okla., Mrs. Beasley moved to Midland in 1931. Other survivors include five daughters, Joyce Beasley, Molly Cartwright and Vera Langley, all of Midland; Mary Schubert of Goldsmith and Jean Fikes of Westbrook; 13 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be O. W. Roberts, Elmer Shults, Douglas Dyess, O. W. Stice, A. B. Montgomery and Leo Robinson.
