Willie Jean Beasley Fikes, 85, died Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Lakeway, Texas. Jean was born on September 3, 1936, to parents Bo Bryant and Ida Mae Beasley. Jean was one of six children, one brother and four sisters. She married Oscar Fikes on July 23, 1957. They raised three children, one daughter and two sons. Her children paid this tribute to her, 'Mother was the strongest person we knew: Spiritually, Mentally, and Physically. She loved her family ferociously.' She is survived by her children, Tracy Englet (Kevin), Perry Fikes (Jenny), and Joe Fikes (Patti); her sisters Mary Shubert and Molly Schneider; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by her parents Bo Bryant and Ida Mae Beasley, husband Oscar Fikes, brother Elvis Beasley, and sisters Joyce Beasley and Vera Langley.
