Bio

Bessie Linda Armstrong 89,of Nash, Texas died Monday March 8,2004 in a local hospital. Mrs. Armstrong was born April 30,1914 in DeRidder, La. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. She was preceaded in death by her husband, George Armstrong; and one son, Franklin Green. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tyna Armstrong of Texarkana; three sisters, Ada Vastine and Clora Green of DeRidder; and Eula Mary Roark of Fordyce, Ark; one granddaughter, Missy Armstrong Bonner of Texarkana; one grandson, Dane Woods of Texarkana; and one great-grandson, Cole Bonner of Texarkana. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be at 6 Wide Trail, Texarkana, Ark. Texarkana Daily Gazette, March 10,2004.
