Clora Bailey Green (May 31, 1909 - December 11, 2012) Clora Bailey Green, 103, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at her residence. Clora was born on May 31, 1909, to Benjamin L and Melinda Lewis Bailey in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of Beauregard Parish and lived most of it in the Hopewell Community. She was an ordained minister in the United Pentecostal Church, International, and was believed to be the oldest minister in the organization at her death. She is remembered by many for her Sunday School "Flannel Graph" stories and her apple pie. Survivors include her daughter Audrey and husband Rev. Roy Thompson of DeRidder; son-in-law Bill Sistrunk of Eunice, LA; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and twelve great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev. Ivy Green and daughter, Billie Sue Sistrunk. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 10 A.M. in the First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder with Rev. Zale Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Her visitation will begin on Thursday, December 13, 2012, from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., and continue on Friday, December 14, 2012, from 8 A.M. until time of the service, all at the First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder.
