Bio

Rachael Ann was the daughter of Andrew Love Hudiburgh and Mary Melton Cole. She was their first child--there would be ten other children to follow her. She married 1st Robert Byrd about 1860 and had four children. Robert died about 1870 in Homer. She married 2nd Thomas Jefferson Selman on 21 July 1872 and they would have five children: one daughter and four sons.
