Ronnie Chitty officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, TX. She passed away August 12, 2009 in Grand Saline, TX. Mrs. Hawkins was born October 13, 1933 in Edgewood, TX, to Raymond Henry and Opal Viola Baugh Valentine. She was Baptist by faith. She grew up in Edgewood & graduated from Edgewood High School. She raised her family in Garland & served as secretary for several churches in the area. In 1992 she married & moved back to Edgewood. She & her husband enjoyed traveling & Guin was glad to be living close to her siblings. She enjoyed her family & was a loving wife, mother & sister. She was preceded in death by her parents.
