Bio

His obituary and funeral notice were published by the Kingfisher Times, Kingfisher Free Press and Hennessey Clipper March 13-16, 1944. A. L. was one of 9 children born to Lewis and Martha (Nichols) Jones. He was born in Reno County, Kansas and lived in Kansas until his mother and stepfather (Herman Back) moved the family to Oklahoma Territory around 1890. There he met and married Elizabeth Ann Bamberg on March 19, 1905. A.L and Lizzie had and raised three children together on farmland in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma.
