Issac Reno Vance Obituary Funeral services for Isaac Reno Vance, 67, of 65 South First West Street, who died at a local hospital Friday, will be held from the Nibley Park ward chapel of the LDS church at 2 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Vance was former bishop of the LDS Tyhee ward at Fort Hall, Idaho. He was born Alpine (Utah) August 3, 1863, son of Major John W. Vance, a graduate of Annapolis, who was later killed while fighting Indians in Utah. Mr. Vance had been a farmer in Delta, American Fork and later Idaho. He was an LDS temple worker at the time of his death. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marintha Martin Vance, eight sons and daughters, 17 grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary Sunday morning until 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Alpine City Cemetery. Published Sunday, 7 June 1931 on page B13, column 4 in the Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City, Utah). Obituary included a photograph.
