Steve Martin Vance Obituary Steven Martin Vance AMERICAN FORK— Funeral services for Steven Martin Vance, 61, who died Sunday of a heart ailment, will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the American Fork First LDS ward chapel by E. J. Strand Bishop. Friends may call at Anderson and Sons Mortuary Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in American Fork City cemetery. Mr. Vance was born March 20, 1884, in Alpine, a son of Isaac Reno and Marlntha Martin Vance, and married Rebecca Snyder of American Fork Feb. 10, 1913. They have lived in American Fork for the past seventy years, where Mr. Vance was a farmer and boiler maker. Survivors include his widow; his mother, of Salt Lake City; nine brothers and sisters, Reno W. and Reed Vance and Mrs. Althera Farnsworth and Mrs. Norma Hess, Salt Lake City; Sterling Vance, Los Angeles; Jesse Vance, Indianapolis, Ind.; Bliss Vance, Chicago, Ill.; Oscar Vance, Washington and Elmo Vance with the Merchant Marines.
