Bio

Services for Marcell Wynn, 64, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Gillham officiating. Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home of Lubbock. She died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002. She was born March 23, 1938, in Celeste. She attended Cooper schools and graduated from Frenship High School in 1956. She married Virgil Wynn on Jan. 8, 1957, in Lubbock. She was a kitchen manager for the Lubbock Women's Club for 22 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Wayne Avenue Baptist Church. An infant son, Larry Dan, died in 1966. Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary of Lubbock; a daughter, Teri of Lubbock; two brothers, John Clinton and Jim Clinton, both of Lubbock; and a sister, Linda Ewing of Lubbock.
