Obituary for James D. Clinton James D. Clinton, of Lubbock, born in Celeste, Texas on May 27, 1943, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the age of 73. A graveside service will be held at the City of Lubbock Cemetery on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. His family moved to Lubbock in 1945, where he graduated from Frenship High School in Wolfforth. He later graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Business Management. He served in the Army Reserves for four years. He was a member of South Park Baptist Church. He married Paulette Kinard in 1968 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was employed by LTV Aerospace in Dallas and then settled in Lubbock. He retired from the State of Texas after 30 years of service in 2003.
