Bio
Jacob C. "Jake" Moore was born on 16 February 1853, in Pike County, Missouri, to George Thomas and Martha Greathouse Moore. There were several siblings in the Moore Family and including Jacob, they were John L., Mary Catherine (McKellip), Martha Elizabeth (Badgley), Sarah Ann "Sallie" (Moser), Henry Francis "Frank", George Thomas, and twins William C., and Agnes Evelyn Moore. On all the census records where Jake was found he is listed as single. It really is not known if he ever married. He died on 26 February 1933 in Dallas County, Texas and he is buried near his parents in the Lee Cemetery.
