Edna Hudec daughter of Emil and Ludmilla Rerich.Edna Rerich married Henry Hudec on September 28,1936. ___________________ Funeral for Edna Hudec Held Nov.10 Funeral services for Mrs.Edna (Tootsie) Hudec,76,of Weimar were held Sunday,November 10,from St. Michael Catholic Church,Rev.John Bily officiated. She died Friday morning,November 8,at her home,of heart failure. Mrs.Hudec was the loving and devoted wife of Henry Hudec Sr. of Weimar.They were married at St. Michael Church on September 28,1936.To this union were born four children. Mrs.Hudec was born July 24,1915,a daughter of Emil and Ludmilla (Heger) Rerich,in the Wildwood area,where she also attended school. She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Christian Mothers.Her hobbies were quilting and embroidery,and she assisted many local ladies and organizations with these talents.She was a frequent visitor at Parkview Manor and a faithful participant in all activities of her parish. Active pallbearers were Oscar Guenther,Hilliard Till,Norbert Banse,Paul Oncken,Darrell Kubesch,Bennie Kosler,Wilbur Grohmann Jr. and Ron Hayward. Honorary pallbearers were all nephews. Altar boys at the mass were grandson Robert Henry Hudec and Eric Billeck.Granddaughter Kimberly Anne Hudec gave the gospel readings.Gifts were brought up by great-granddaughters Jessica and Danielle Heger.
