Angeline Holub daughter of Joseph and Frances Holub.Angeline Holub married Alfred Holub. _________________________ Angeline (Hubbard) Holub Brain Tumor Is Fatal to Mrs. Holub Mrs.Angelina Holub,59,wife of Alfred Holub,died at 12:20 a.m. Monday,Sept. 20,at the home of her daughter in Wharton,after an illness of about 17 months. She underwent surgery in May 1970 for removal of a malignant brain tumor.Later she was a patient in Gulf Coast Medical Center at Wharton for some time. Funeral services were held Sept. 22 at Hubbard Funeral Home and St. Michael's Catholic Church here with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.Rev.O.B. Kahlich officiated. Pallbearers were her nephews,George,Eugene,Ervin Jr.,Glen,and Danny Holub and George Konvicka. Mrs.Holub was born March 11,1911 in the Weimar area,the daughter of Joseph and Frances Holub,and lived her entire life here.She was married to Alfred Holub here on Oct. 1,1935.She was a member of St. Michael's Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Her husband survives,along with the daughter,Mrs.Lawrence (Elaine) Kubecka of Wharton;two grandchildren,Vicki Jo and Terri Lynn Kubecka of Wharton;two brothers,Emil Holub of Oklahoma and Willie Holub of Weimar,and five sisters,Mrs.Tillie Konvicka and Mrs.Millie Sokol of Schulenburg,Mrs.Edna Dornwell of Wharton,Mrs.Rosie Baca of La Grange and Mrs.Josie Beyer of El Campo.Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
