Bio

w/o Thomas Dalton Saturday Herald 8/26/1882 Mrs.Sarah Dalton, wife of Thomas Dalton,for whom this town was named,died at her residence here at noon Monday of hemorrhage of the bowels,at the age of 46 years. Her husbandand five children survive her, Mrs.T.M. Tryberger being the only child not at home and married. Deceased had resided here since 1872. She was an active member of the Christian church and a lady whose charitable ways and works of love endeared her to all who knew her. The funeral will take place at the Christian church at 2 oclock today and will be conducted by the pastor of the Christian church of Sullivan. Obituary furnished by Janet Donner
