On 1880 Newton County, MS. census Margaret stated that her father was born in MS. and her mother was born in Ireland. On 1900 Newton co MS census M.J. Parks 50, Sam 19, Jim 15, Birdie 13, Susa"n" daughter in law 18, Birdie May newborn granddaughter.
