Children: G. W. "Guy" Griffith Mary F Griffith Vera Griffith Lucille Griffith Willie M Griffith Mozelle Griffith Allen Griffith Glenn Griffith Per DC, lived and farmed in Oglesby prior to death. He was born in Greenville Co., SC and was in his parents household in the 1900 Coryell Co., Tx census. The family stopped in Cherokee Co., Ga on the way to Texas and Mack's sister, Hattie, stayed in Georgia, marrying my wife's Great Grand-father. (The above info submitted by Cemetery Dawg, contributor) Obituary: Mack Griffith, 85 of Oglesby, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday in a Killeen rest home. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today at Lee's chapel in McGregor with Rev. Gary Hearon officiating. Burial was in Osage Cemetery. Surviving are four daughter, Mrs. Florence Gatlin and Mrs. Moxelle Sheffield of Gatesville and Mrs. Vera Negale and Mrs. Lucille Lynch of Oglesby; three sons, Glenn Griffith and Willie Griffith of Copperas Cove and Allen Griffith of Waco; two sister in South Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
